Welcome to Mr. Carpenter's Web Page
I will update on the last Friday of the month.
Children need three things in life:
Something to believe in,
Someone to believe in,
and
Someone to believe in them.

Physical Education Philosophy
I feel that it is my job and duty to provide children with a foundation of basic motor skills in which they can easily build upon. My goal is for children to leave my classroom able to lead a lifestyle that is physically, emotionally and socially satisfying. I would like for children to be able to transition into the extracurricular school sports that they will have the opportunity to take part in either at the CYO or Badin level. It is not my job to create the next Ken Griffy Jr. or Michael Jordan; however, it is my goal to give each student the confidence and skills to go to a park or gym with friends and take part in a variety of physical activities or sports. In the future I hope to see these former students still participating in daily physical activity, looking healthier and happier than ever before. I will work with the classroom teachers to insure that my students truly benefit from their Physical Education Class.
Appropriate gym clothes - sports tee-shirts, solid color tee-shirts, D.A.R.E. tee-shirts, gym shorts or athletic pants. All clothing must be proper length and fit well. |
